Dan Silver, co-founder of the Southwest Invasion reminisces on this year’s event: "This year was one of the most exciting yet! Not only were the brand activations amazing, with the "Stranger Things” experience from Schwinn Bikes and Califia’s wall garden, the lineup was stellar and the performances were flawless (and we appreciate the awesome sound quality provided by QSC). The musicianship and performance level of artists and bands just keeps getting better. I feel fortunate to work with the 45 artists on this year’s roster as I discovered so much new talent in forging this lineup.

Inviting DMC of Run-DMC on stage was a childhood dream, as working with a legendary music icon, Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer, and Grammy Lifetime Achievement recipient isn’t something that happens on a daily basis! We also had an exciting array of SWI alumni - including a solo performance from Chris Carrabba of Dashboard Confessional (previously performed as Twin Forks), In The Valley Below headlined their third SWI performance, and Jukebox the Ghost returned for a second performance. Below are photos of some of my favorite moments during the event this year."
