NPR MIX TAPE FEATURING SOUTHWEST INVASION 2018 ARTISTS

As per usual, every March NPR Music highlights some of the hottest acts playing in Austin at that time. This year, one of the unique things NPR put together was a mix tape (thumbs up if you’re old enough to have made those!) featuring “100 Great Songs” by artists performing between March 12-17th. FOUR acts that played the 2018 Southwest Invasion were featured on said mix tape: Sego, an LA via Utah based band whose track “Whatever Forever” is “steeped in ‘90s grunge," Australian rocker Gordi, who is signed to Bon Iver’s label, Israeli pop act Lola Marsh’s “Wishing Girl,” that will have you wishing you could listen to their whole album Remember Roses, and Becca Mancari, whose gritty and smart Americana tracks is currently on everyone’s Buzz list.

Listen to the six plus hours of amazing music via the NPR ONE app, on the artist's websites or via this link from NPR. Enjoy!
