HANSON DAY - MAY 16-18, 2019

2017 Southwest Invasion headliners Hanson will be kicking off their annual HANSON DAY weekend in Tulsa, OK on May 16. A celebration of music, art and community, HANSON DAY marks the (27th!) anniversary of when the brothers put their band together. In 1997, Frank Keating, then governor of Oklahoma, declared May 6 as “HANSON DAY.” Fans of the band embraced the May holiday and continue to honor it each year

The band, who run their own record label, have cultivated a very active fan community who converge in Tulsa for the celebration every year. This year, all Hanson fan community members who RSVP will have access to a HANSON Day art gallery, special store, group photo with Taylor, Issac & Zac,  and a members only concert in Tulsa. There are many more events fans can buy tickets to, including a Storytellers Concert, Bowling party, EP listening party, painting classes, Karaoke Day and an-already-sold-out String Theory concert with the Tulsa Philharmonic.

The band will also headline the HOP JAM, a beer and music festival founded by HANSON, now in its sixth year. There will be free music performances on 2 stages by Hanson, Phantom Planet, The Weeks and more; tickets are required for the 21+ beer portion of the festival, where over 100 brewers are expected to participate.
