THE ZOMBIES

2015 Southwest Invasion headliners The Zombies are on the road!

Starting at the Fillmore in San Francisco on September 7, and winding down on September 21 in Palm Springs and then heading off to Europe at the end of October, The Zombies have a full slate of dates that take them in to 2019.

Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone are the two members of the English pop band that have stayed the course. Formed in the late 60s, The Zombies reached global popularity with the song “Time Of The Season,” which has been used in countless television shows and movies.

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios and written by Rod, Columbia Records released “Time of the Season” as an anti-war song. The track actually came out in 1969, after the original line up had split, and reached #3 on the Billboard chart.

After 30 years, Argent and Blunstone reunited to great acclaim in 1998. They’ve since recorded new music together and continue to tour as The Zombies, performing a show at the 2015 Southwest Invasion, which was met with much excitement from the enraptured audience.
