Music has been an important part of the Dogfish DNA since the very beginning - starting with our live music series at our Rehoboth Beach brewpub and continuing through to this day with music-centric annual events like Analog-A-Go-Go, Firefly Music Festival and our sponsorship of Record Store Day nationwide. Over the years, we’ve been lucky enough to collaborate with some of our favorite artists (Miles Davis, Grateful Dead, Dan the Automator, Robert Johnson, Guided By Voices, Pearl Jam) on a series of beers celebrating our intense love for and appreciation of a wide-ranging catalog of music. Being a part of Southwest Invasion is just an extension of that ongoing love affair – one best explored with a beer in one hand and a vinyl in the other. So, come see us at the Dogfish Head Listening Lounge where you can spin a slew of vinyl (from artists performing at the event, no less) on our sweet custom decks. Like what you hear? Enter our raffle for your chance to walk home with one of your very own Dogfish/Crosley collaboration turntables, a limited edition Record Store Day Poster or Dogfish Head pint! We’ll be pouring 60 Minute IPA and Namaste at the rooftop bars throughout the weekend and we’ll be celebrating the release of two new beers, Beer to Drink Music To and Romantic Chemistry, downstairs throughout Southwest Invasion.
If you’re looking for a little aural inspiration in anticipation of our beer/music experience , check out our newest Spotify playlist. What you have here is an audio companion to the ingredient crate-digging that led us to Beer To Drink Music To, our new Belgian Tripel. A musical celebration at the intersection of some of our favorite artists and all things orange, vanilla, peppercorn and cardamom, this playlist featuring R.E.M, Fruit Bats, Weyes Blood and Orange Juice is the perfect soundtrack for kicking back and savoring a well–curated beer. Sip. Listen. Sip.
